Library Director Maureen Amyot has been tending a hive in her Westborough backyard for years; she knows the fun and the challenges of beekeeping. She'll introduce you to the best practices, equipment, and costs to start a bee colony. This class is perfect for the absolute beginner; if you've been thinking of getting into apiculture, this class is just right--February isn't too late to start setting up! There will be plenty of time for Q&A, and those who have developed their own hives are welcome to share their strategies for sweet success.
