The Westborough Public Library is encouraging the community to come out and exercise their Freedom to Read! 

October 1-October 7 is National Banned Books Week. On Wednesday, October 4 at 6:30pm, we're having a "Read In." Gather in the first floor Adult Reading area where Maureen Amyot, Library Director, will give a brief welcome. Then choose a spot to sit comfortably throughout the library and read silently with your neighbors. We'll have a stack of the most challenged books throughout the nation from the past few years. Explore them and decide if they're right for you--or if they're not your cup of tea. Have the courage to think for yourself and read what you like. Or, come out and support our Freedom Readers, who will be sitting and reading banned books.
