Baby Sign & Play with Sheryl White
Wednesday, October 211:30 AM—12:30 PMGalfand Meeting RoomWestborough Public Library55 West Main St, Westborough, MA, 01581
Join us for an introductory workshop, with Sheryl White of Baby Kneads, and learn how to use sign language to communicate with your baby. Baby Sign has many benefits, such as giving babies the ability to express themselves before they can speak verbally, deepening the bond between adult and child, and enhancing early literacy skills. Baby sign language gives them the ability to communicate their needs and wishes, pre-verbal, without frustration, tears or tantrums. Babies and toddlers can learn signs important to their lifestyle such as “milk”, “more”, “sleep”, “eat”, “Mommy”, “Daddy” and so on.
This program is for caregivers with pre-verbal children ages three months and up. Both child and caregiver participate in the program. Please arrange for any older siblings to have alternative supervision in the children's room/play area or elsewhere.
